Actually its Rettungswagen for emergencies and Krankenwagen for just Transport without hesistation.

I know, I’m a Dutchy and having German at school back then. But one of the funnies words in how it’s pronounced, is that one.

Rettungswagen is basically the same as Reddingswagen in Dutch, but we don’t use that word.
