Detective Dicks is working on a case where three victims have been murdered in similar ways.

The victims were all drowned in a bathtub of milk, but the first victim had some cornflakes added, the second victim's milk bath had rice crispies added, and the third was drowned in a bathtub of milk and cheerios.

This is a nightmare scenario for the detective, who has always been afraid that at some point in his career he might have to deal with a cereal killer.
