Except for when it doesn't. I usually just avoid places that have it. If I can't, I start the pump and step back far enough that I can't see or hear it.

Fuck whoever's idea it was to blast people with noise and ads when they're already getting my money. It's insulting.

Where I used to live, they were adamant about playing Jimmy Fallon snippets. I hate Jimmy Fallon and this gas station was of course the only gas station on my route to/from work so I had no choice but to listen to the same goddamn Jimmy Fallon snippets idk how many times over the course of idk how many months before they changed it.

The literal only good thing I have ever seen on those screens was the weather, and I've only encountered that once or twice. Those monitors are the worst.

Sometimes you have to finesse the button just right but I've found it works 99 out of 100 times

Oh man this is definitely the best LPT I've seen in a while, thank you! I hate those dumb things, rarely ever anything decent on it and it's always way too loud

I'd like to see them sued for distracting people while playing with explosive chemicals its only a matter of time before someone starts a fire that hurts or kills someone

Oh, but then how will I hear random life tips for wealthy folks from a celebrity?

You aren't fascinated by the fact that Macklemore likes looking at bedazzled and camouflage hats and t shirts at gas stations like some normal, everyday asshole?

Even better LPT: carry around a roll of heavy duty duct tape and tape over the speakers when it comes on. Then the next poor soul doesn't have to listen to it.
