Don't most phones have a notes app? I know pixels do at the very least.

Google docs and private discord channels/servers also work.

Depends, I use it to quickly get some info from pc to phone or vice versa. WhatsApp is basically always open and doesn't require me to use another application.

And I think that if what makes this useful for you or not. If you already use it, ir could help. If you don't, there are indeed better options.
