Taxi line worked really well at LAX, compared to the apps. In Chicago though I paid almost $20 more and the driver also complained about a $10 tip on a $55 ride. Ride apps are good because they tell you the price BEFORE you get in, cabs can be cheaper but you don’t truly know until you’ve arrived at your destination
