Your tip is wrong. I've never reported an Uber Eats order or received a refund but still been required to give a PIN before when picking up from certain locations like hotels.

Same. I have had to do this for one order. The pin is a safety precaution that keeps other people from stealing their food or serves a proof of delivery. The pin proves their identity so the driver doesn't give the food to a random stranger. Additionally, the driver can't provide a picture that proves delivery the same way they do by dropping it at the door. It doesn't mean the customer steals.

Both incorrect and an awful tip.

LPT: if you are dating someone and you want to find out if they are trust worthy have them order DoorDash or Uber as a hand to me order. If they have to sign or provide a pin they aren’t trust worthy.
