And do not do this in the supermarket when buying avocado's. Those are not your avocado's to damage for other customers.

Agreed. If it’s rock hard, the avocado isn’t ready. If it gives slightly, it’s ready. If it gives easily, it’s likely over ripe.

No need to pick at the produce. lol

LPT: To know if an avocado is ready to eat, peel back the little round stem at the top of it. If it comes away easily and what’s underneath is green - it’s ripe.
