Doesn't Google maps have a save my parking spot option?

If an iPhone is connected to your car, it drops a pin where you park when the Bluetooth disconnects.

You can just drop a pin on google maps to save your exact location. It works so well that I once sent my friend a link of a dropped pin to where I was sat on a large busy beach and he found me easily.

Better: in a big parking lot or parking garage, take a photo of your car with enough context around to identify the spot (license number, parking spot number, floor number). Did you park on level 3 or level 4? The answer is on the photo. Is your car not there? Show the photo to the parking people.

It’s a setting in Apple Maps. I think it’s on by default. If you disconnect from your car’s Bluetooth (when you turn the car off), when you’re ready to go back to your car, you can open Apple Maps and it will offer you walking directions to your car.

iPhones automatically save your parking location. So, this tip isn’t really necessary for many people.
