Check out MyNoise! It’s a neat site and app of a wide variety of sounds that can be layered and individually manipulated.

Dr. Ir. Stéphane Pigeon travels the world to record some of the sounds live, so the nature ones are incredibly lifelike.

It’s free to use, with an option to donate to the guy who travels the world to make the noises.
