Aluminum is the most recyclable product. It can still be recycled covered in paint

When you're done, wipe out the roller tray back into the tin/tub to save any paint left you didnt use, and leave it overnight to dry. Done.

Or you could use the tray with the dried paint on it. Eventually after enough times just letting it dry on it the thing will be coated thick enough to peel it off

Buy few tray liners. Just swap out a new one if switching colors and let the other liner dry. You can either peel off the latex paint when it’s dry or not. Doesn’t matter because it will still work. No need to clean it.

Put the tray in a garbage bag. Use as normal. When done just turn it inside out and toss. Learned from Homerenovision diy on YouTube. Haven't had to buy a new tray for years

I use plastic shopping bags. Put the whole tray in the bag to line it, and when you’re done I use the same bag to wrap up the roller and chuck it in the freezer. When I’m ready for the second coat the next day I just thaw it out, re-line the tray with a new bag and your good. I do the same with brushes and only clean them once when the job is done
