To me, life is boring.

To me, life is boring.
The uncertainty of trying new things and the challenges it throws at me
Nothing. I just get busy everyday and can't spend much time thinking about motivation and life in general.
>To me, life is boring.
Open yourself to new experiences. Try out new things. Idk, ever been skydiving? Ever been to poetry reading? Ever been dancing? Tried martial arts? Learning a new language? Had fun with Arduino?
There is so so much you can do and experience in life no matter your status. Your life may be boring, but the life is anything but.
Who wants finds a way, who doesn't, finds an excuse.
Curiosity. I treat life like a videogame. It may not be the most interesting one and has lots of dumb phases, but it can be fun to discover new things, abuse the mechanics and you are constantly challenged by massive amounts of new DLCs.
My motivation seems to be that I want to make my mark upon this world. To not be easily forgotten. To be unique. Not just with family, but in books as well. Personally, I've been mentioned in one book, had another dedicated to me (will not disclose, do not ask), am writing my own book based on my favourite songs, and am also working on a Guinness world record. I want to be someone that my kids and family can easily research.
I moved 7 hours from all of my family and friends, to start a new career making double what I was before. So I'm motivated to make it worth my while.
As I've gotten older and started to pay off assets, like my car, my phone, having a nice place to live, etc. I'm now more motivated to not lose the comfortable life I've designed for myself. The only thing that could really take away my current comfort level, is losing my source of income.
One main thing that keeps me going is learning / challenge. Learning new hobbies, skills, even video games - any kind of skill mastery is where my motivation and satisfaction comes from.
Besides that, helping people. Life sucks and I can make it easier for others. That makes me happier, so these 2 things are my main focuses
I'm kinda on a quest.
Happiness but also integrity & taking care of my kids! I make goals for myself. The gym is my home away from home. The old saying go's "Attach your happiness to a goal, not a person or thing"
I'm content and at peace in my personal life so my motivation is make a good impact on others whether it be financially, friendship, or just a one-off meeting, etc., just help wherever I can.
Sometimes you may be the only good thing someone interacts with all day.
Read “12 rules for life”
Don’t pay much attention to anything else from the author (YouTube videos, interviews…), the guy is a bit aggressive in his discourse which is something you don’t need now. But read “12 rules for life” with low expectations and no rush.
Also, how many hours of screen time do you get a day? Between phone, laptop, and TV… if you are leaning towards depression, cut down screen time immediately. Get bored the traditional way! Stop scrolling down endlessly with no purpose or goal. Screen time is very damaging to the human psychology.
Hope this help
God. To me, knowing that the afterlife exists, motivates me in life.
