Since when did Americans use the metric system to weigh things?

God damn, I really CAN'T contribute, interject, or otherwise be a part of ANY FUCKING THING one would consider "normal" without getting flamed, questioned, criticized, or spit on, can I?? And we wonder why there's mass shootings in this country every other day. Maybe it's because you're all assholes that drain the life out of anything meaningful and are content with just watching it all burn

Time to learn how to post better content then.

You have so many shootings there because your gun laws are pathetic.

All U.S. pennies (1-cent pieces) minted since 1982 weigh either 2.5 grams (0.088 ounces) or 3.11 grams (0.109). The 2.5 grams Lincoln Penny is composed of brass (95% copper, 5% zinc), while the 3.11 grams Union Shield is composed of copper-plated zinc (97.5% zinc, 2.5% copper). All current U.S. pennies have a diameter of 19.05 mm, a thickness of 1.52 mm, and are composed primarily of zinc (97.5%) with a copper plating (2.5%).

No, it just makes you one of the insufferable assholes I mentioned previously. Go head first into the shallow end somewhere, eh? Amateur?? 🖕

You post a pro tip that's flat out wrong, we call you out on it and that makes us insufferable assholes.

I see.

I actually....I don't think I knew that. Interesting. They don't feel any heavier or lighter than a nickel. Key word "feel"
