If you’re in America, you might have a lot of left over turkey right now that you aren’t keen to eat. Instead of throwing it away, turn it into soup, pot pie, casseroles, etc…, and freeze them. Save them for when you’re too busy or tired during the darkest days of January and February. Or for when you’re exhausted from Christmas shopping, or working multiple jobs to make the rent. Just pull it out of the freezer and reheat.

I make big batches of turkey stew. Potatoes don't freeze well unless they are mashed though. So for the batches I plan to freeze, I will leave out the potatoes and just add them in when I thaw out some for dinner.

My girlfriend just made a HUGE pot of it and it's very good and will probably last like a whole month after freezing half!

This is great because I quit my job last week... 🥳
