After March 2020 i recently wore my leather shoes and had hardly walked when I noticed one shoe was loose compared to the other one. The stitches had chipped of the rubber sole as they hardened due to non-usage. A little later same happened to the other shoe.

My badminton shoes hardly last for 3-6 months. Mostly they tear at the wrinkles or the fabric tears. The glue normally doesn't come off, and if they do I just glue them back and get going.

I have to disagree.
