Just make a big batch of chicken soup and leave it in the freezer in a microwave safe container, so you can just microwave it and all your meals are taken care of if you get sick.

Especially useful if there’s no one to take care of you if you get sick. Also helpful for moms, make it when you have free time and it can be heated up if one of your kids is sick. Or leave some for elderly loved ones if they need it.

Hope everyone stays healthy this Christmas

The nutrition profile is nowhere near the same and homemade doesn't contain a bunch of additives

I like the homemade ones more, especially when I feel sick. Gives me a warm homey feeling and less sad about being sick. But not everyone gets this feeling, so whatever floats your boat :)

Extra pro-tip... if you make noodles separately and coat them in some butter or oil, you can freeze them in zippy bags and then add them to your homemade soups only when reheating so they don't turn into nasty noodle mush.

Ooo! I’ve never heard of this. I’ll try it this year! Sounds very useful
