I'd argue that networking in college is just as important as the things you want to do.

I'm not saying sacrifice all the stuff you want to do to build networks and have the friendship experiences, but the fact remains that the networks you build there will stay with you for quite a while. Shared experiences help build those networks

Stupid stupid stupid fucking advice. As a guy who graduated with an near 4.0 through engineering bachelors and masters, I was absolutely miserable through most of it, almost every weekend I had no plans, had no friends near the end, then once I started to be "social" everyone I knew was like "Oh I don't actually like you, i just needed help with my homework", almost killed myself several times...

Life is short, have fun, make friends... FUCK THIS ADVICE!!!!!
