It's Christmas and money has been tight, do to combat this whenever you buy children's toys with multiple pieces take them out of the box and wrap them individually. It creates the illusion of a lot of toys without breaking the bank and those pesky boxes have already been taken care of and can just relax and enjoy.

As a kid who experienced this, yes, this is fun. Works better when there are discrete pieces rather than individual components that require assembly. Each package should be exciting to open.

😅 sorry for me it still felt like Christmas eve when I posted and it was a last minute tip that I found useful, didn't notice until after I posted this that it was 2am on Christmas day. Could always bring it over to next year's Christmas though.

You could still separate them, but wrap it up in either an empty toilet paper rolls or empty paper towel rolls and wrap those up. Makes it fun and they usually play with it right after.

I saw someone else already posted this, on Christmas Eve. I saw a lot of positive comments about others remembering the hunt fondly. I however really hated that experience as a child.
