It's pretty common to gain a few pounds. I start reeling in my eating on the 26th, so it's usually not too bad for me.

People generally understand that over the holidays they tend to eat too much, and therefore gain a little weight.

When do people/when do you stop eating & start going outside again?

I’ve not been out in 4 days.. I want to stay indoors and truly be lazy until the holidays are over, but if I do that, I know i’ll be tempted to overeat even more and gain more weight.

People are made for walking. It is very stupid sitting all the time. Now you have opportunity to add some physical activity to your day 😏 People gain weight during Christmas because they eating too much, above their caloric needs. And this caloric need depends on how much we move.
