Herman Miller Aeron & Embody gets a good rep. As does the Steelcase Leap v2.

Don’t discount the Steelcase Gesture. That thing got rid of my backpain.

I love when people post about something amazing and so fantastic they just had to rush out and get it themselves because it basically changed/improved their life in a huge way...and don't say what it actually was.

He’s talking about ergonomic office chairs in general, there are a few very good brands out there. Herman Miller and Steelcase come to mind but there are more, look into it!

I hate the office chair my company buys for 450€ a piece.

I work from home in my gaming chair 4/5 days a week. It is the best kind of chair I can think of.

Yep, same for me. I work from home in my gaming chair 5 days a week, sometimes 6 if I do OT & I wouldn't change it for anything.

Not just any office chair.

You need to buy a Herman Miller

Their chairs are great, but if you want an all-day-chair from HM you're going to need to sell a couple of family members to afford it

Story time, I bought a gaming chair last year, it was a good purchase, it helps a lot with posture and whatnot, I got it for $220. I thought, because I don’t have a car, I could just walk it home. It only weighed 17kg, nothing I’m not used to, for the next 2 days my arms were spaghetti.

Don’t regret it though, it’s great.

The issue I have with gaming chairs I have seen is they are all made of leather which sucks in the summer or if you live in a tropical area.

The chair I have has a mesh on it, and that has worked out for me.

I agree, mesh is better! Most gaming chairs use fake leather to reduce manufacturing cost. I had a gaming chair with fake leather and it started flaking/deteriorating after 4 years of use. Real leather won't do that.
