The three examples weren’t interested in being liked. The Buddha wanted to become one with the universe; Jesus wanted to speak inconvenient truths to the rulers to force them to kill him.
But your point still stands; try to be in harmony with others but never try to make them like you.

I get your point, but you gotta consider Jesus is in Jerusalem during a time of Roman occupation. Anything that upset the Romans was going to be merciless put down.
Jesus was the most based guerrilla fighter in history.
"Turn the other cheek" was a way to peacefully resist and subvert a Roman custom of backhand slapping their perceived lessers.
