Ok so apostrophes are used when two words are shortened into one or when showing possession.

Examples

  • It is or it has = it's
  • they are = they're
  • one student's name

In your case, pepperoni is plural in Italian, but can be both singular and plural in English. If you do add s, it's pepperonis. No apostrophe.
