Reply to comment by CivilGator in LPT: If you are in a place where you don't want to sneeze, but you feel your nose start to tickle, pinch the area just above your nostrils. This should reduce the feeling of wanting to sneeze. You don't have to fully close the nostrils even. by RegalDreamer

I do, but if you think it is all contained in your hand then maybe learn about how aerosols and pressure differentials work.
