And I’m over like “who are all these people that don’t use the top sheet?”
I make my bed every day, I have a top sheet, and the first thing I do when I get into bed is pull the bottom free. Do not want my feet locked in.
Am I the only one who sweats while they sleep? I run a dehumidifier in the bedroom to dry out the sheets and mattress so I leave the sheets flipped half back. The difference in feel at night is significant imo. But I think hybrid and foam mattresses are worse for moisture buildup while sleeping than an old school mattress.
If by chance you sleep with the covers over your shoulders, try a couple nights with the covers just below them. See if that helps at all.
Making your bed is a good way to pattern positive productive behavior habits but it really doesn't change the way you use the bed

I have a cat. The bed is going to get messy the minute I leave for work because she crawls back under the covers and pushes it all to one end in doing so.
There is no point to making a bed, or a top sheet
I use my made bed everyday. Basket of laundry; dump out on the bed to sort & fold. Purse; dump out on the bed to organize. Outfits are created and rearranged on my bed. It’s a big workspace where I can see what I have all laid out and then group things into sets or categories.
Seriously! Good point about the extra workspace. I hate an unmade bed, that's how socks and underwear disappear. And who knows what kind of bugs like to hide in your messy blankets during the day!

I have no idea what this lpt is saying. "If you think there is no point to making a bed - get a top sheet and then make your bed" ?
