You could try to watch the item, often the seller sends a discount offer to the watchers 10% off or more

I’m not a collector and I don’t look for such things on eBay, but one piece of advice I’ve heard on the subject is to look for lots and listings of wholesale bundles. I think you can use the word “lot” as a search term with whatever you’re looking for. The obvious downside is you’ll buy a whole bunch of junk that you don’t want along with it, but you’re also very likely to come across some great deals

There are sites the let you keep an eye on misspelled listings. Sometimes works out, you can just Google that and you'll find options to try out and see what works for you.

I've heard that a good way is to miss spell the thing you are looking for.
