Also I'm not sure how true it is. I leave stuff in carts all the time and I don't recall seeing any promotion from those companies.

It can work with retailers that do a lot of active promo codes anyway (e.g. shoe shopping from the shoe brand’s website) but this advice is mostly null on larger retailer websites.

I was gonna say it's probably because I don't buy much in the way of fast fashion garbage.
