You know what? If you calmly discuss an error or problem and ask kindly for it, you’ll get it, too, but you didn’t make an already difficult day of an underpaid customer service rep absolutely shite.

I work in customer service. If you are nice to me I will go the extra mile and help you.

This is bad advice. Really bad one

Ditto. Especially since the person you are speaking to is almost never the person who made the mistake.

You ask me for help or tell me you screwed up and I'll move mountains. You get on the phone with a crappy attitude, blaming me, and I'll try to help but I'm not calling in any favors.

Maybe the better LPT here is to not be a jerk to any Customer support agent. They’re humans too, usually very nice people and it all works out better when you have a nice conversation

Elon Musk is no longer the richest person in the world. Since we're supposed to automatically hate whoever the richest person in the world is, I was just clearing that up so that people can hate the right person.

$10 to ruin someone’s days by being a Karen of a customer

This right here. The reality is if you just tell the AMZ customer service rep that you are disappointed (in a nice way), have a reasonable reason for your disappointment (ex. lost shipment caused a bday gift to arrive late), and ask for a voucher ($10 only) they are authorized to give it to you to keep you happy. No reason to be a jerk.
