Not true, people love to see genuine reviews. This won't stop people from taking advantage. Shitty people are shitty people.

The precedent here would be that this business is Abe to admit fault and be accountable. Studies have shown that something like over 90 percent of customers would repeat business if the business just admits fault and is accountable.
