Sorry I’m still pretty new to lowell. With the nice weather coming I’m looking for a park where there’s say a swing for little ones. Things like that. Thanks in advanced.

Depends where you live in the city but Shedd park has all the stuff.

Veterans Memorial Park in Dracut has swings and a splash pad for summer when it heats up.

As a bonus, they usually open the splash pad by 10am. Lowell splash pads are technically closed until noon, which gets tough for the smallest kiddos.

We have a lot of playgrounds. Just let us know what neighborhood you're in and we'll tell you your options.

Hadley Park on Middlesex Street.

I think there's a playground at the Bartlett School and a couple of other schools.

Armory Park, Westford Street.

Most of the public schools have playgrounds around the city, they are open for use after hours and on weekends.

People don’t think of them as much so they are usually less crowded, and it’s nice to switch it up to keep the kid(s) excited and playing.
