I have not spent a day in Lowell for many moon. Headed down to show my partner, he’s never been to lowell! The only place I plan on def going is the Olympia for some of my favorite Greek foods. Was thinking headed to millno5 maybe hit up a gallery (boyfriend is an artist). My brain knows there are so many great places but I’m drawing dumb blanks. Any suggestions would be great, I really want to show off lowell.

If he is an artist I would check out western ave studios. It's a community art building and they have an art show event this weekend, plus there are a lot of artists in there so just walking the gallery is a ton of fun. Navigation Brewery is also there so if you like beer they have some good stuff!

As for food if you have room after Olympia I am a huge fan of 1981 Ramen Bar and Tasty Dumpling, they both have really good food.

If you want some good, cheap food, that will fill you up hit up Rancho Tipico. I moved outta Lowell 5 years ago and still make the trip for good Dominican food. So good. Or I’ll head over to Pho 88 sometimes still, I’ve never had a bad meal. Damn, I didn’t realize how spoiled I was growing up food wise now that I live up in NH. Can’t even find a decent slice of pizza up here.

Mill number 5 is really cool. It’s a collective of a bunch of different shops. It has a movie theater, and usually some kind of market is running on weekends.

If you are here Saturday (really any day but Saturday should be extra good) head to Mill No 5. They're doing a vintage market type thing from 12-5 that looks pretty good

Pass on the Greek food and get the best Asian fusion at Sizzlin Kitchen. You’ll thank me.

If you like Greek food, make sure to stop by Sophia's Greek Pantry.

If you're here for breakfast, I'd recommend going to Arthur's for a boott mill and coffee. Then you can do the riverwalk for a nice view of the Merrimack. There are loads of other fantastic breakfast options too.
