Check out Assured Hope Health in Chelmsford https://assuredhopehealth.com/

I have been going for over a year and sent a few friends family there with great success. Ask for Henry Kaggwa.

Good luck!

Stony Brook Counseling in Chelmsford can be good. They provide counseling, as well as med providers/psychiatrists. They do have waitlists, which many places are seeing into the 6-18 month range, but they accept most insurances and are a multi-provider practice so you have options to switch to a new provider if you’re not comfortable with who you’re initially set up with. I recommend calling every place you can and adding your name to multiple waitlists at once just in case!!

Yep, that’s been my life lately, can’t wait to finally get help in 6 months! 😅 I’ll check that place as well, thank you!

Waitlists suck, I’m sorry 😩 the only way I’ve ever been able to get past some waitlists is calling weekly to check-in with the list, cause honestly being politely persistent enough will pay off once in a while when they want you to stop calling regularly 😂😅

LOL that’s awesome. I might just give that a try if I end up not being able to find an opening anywhere. Thank you for the tip! :)

Hi! I had difficulty securing one in the area and ended up on a number of 6 month or more waitlists. I opted into Cerebral (virtual) until I could find a provider in the area. Not always ideal but very convenient if you can’t find someone in a timely manner. They also allow payment through your FSA!

Ugh, it’s so frustrating 😞 I’m new to finding these by myself and it’s just been awful. Thanks for the help, I’ll look into Cerebral. Best of luck on your own journey as well!

It's a little further afield but I go to Boundaries Therapy Center in Acton. According to their voicemail they have some openings. They have both psychiatrists and therapists.

The options are very limited by my understanding. Do you actually need a Psychiatrist or do you need a therapist?

Yes I “actually need” one lmao, looking for both but starting with a psychiatrist. If you have therapist recommendations I’ll happily take them!
