Probably the best way is to get hired in a company that does AI, without explicitly looking for an AI role yourself - then go from there. I would never hire someone as a machine learning specialist if their "only" qualifications is online courses or personal projects.

HI,

I don't share your point of view .

Online courses are a trend. The Microsoft & cisco partner certifications are the precursors of this system.

All the big companies are starting it and even the universities (it's the world after COVID).In computer science, diploma are just papers. what really matters is what your fingers can do on a keyboard. Companies look for somewhone who can solve thier issues that's it.

Sure but a master's/phd degree in a good lab is worth a _lot_ more on paper than one or two 12 week online courses, alone. Im for giving people a shot, but I have rarely been impressed or surprised.

World Quant University (google it) could be a good place to start. Very structured and professinal courses (Free of charge and all online)

Most of the free course in internet lack of structure. Booring stuff and waste of time. ofcourse you will be needed read somes good books. and practice.

It was from there that my learning had began seriously.

I will add the following thing: So already to start learn everything on your own even on the internet according to your preferences.

Then and this is the most important part, you find solutions for problems that you will have to identify in your current company, this will make you practice with a lot of flexibility. When you feel strong enough, go outside and fly higher.

I’m also a newbie learning here. Currently I’ve been using this guide. This guide is extensive so please try to skip topics if you already learn before.

First go to linked in or other job portals and find jobs related to AI/ML then note the specialization like computer vision or Nlp,projects are key to get a job, do select one specific domain and start doing projects, learn concepts while doing projects, most of them are available online, as you got good exp try to find some one who can refer you
