Surprised no one has mentioned the Lion's Den restaurant, Awesome food.

The south end/Water St area has a lot of run down older apartments. You would probably never have a problem living in that area.

I lived in the north end Ticonic street area for 9 years. Never once had an issue other than my car was burgled once (forgot to lock my doors, damn kids).

And if you're looking for marijuana, Waterville is your town! Couple of recreational stores and you can't spit without hitting one of the 56 bazillion medical places.
