Built in at least 1702. Builder and owner Richard Hunnewell had a deep seeded hate for the local tribes after they killed his family.
He and over a dozen others were eventually also killed at the hands of the local tribes just down the road at Massacre Pond in Prouts Neck.
Lots of energy can be felt walking Black Point Road at night.
