Bus is cheapest, driving is best, flying out of Trenton or Bangor is probably fastest, hitchhiking is free.

I don’t think any airlines are flying direct from Bangor to Boston anymore, so you need to go through LaGuardia. For a direct flight Cape Air from Trenton or Rockland would probably be the best options.
