If you crop it so you get rid of the lower half (where the sand starts) and leave only the water and the sky, you are left with an incredible abstract picture. I wouldn't mind hanging that on my wall.

My husband took this photo. We were at a very good friends beach house he has been visiting his whole life. It’s flattering you enjoy a portion of his photo. I don’t think his intent was to have a perfectly abstract photo though, as he is a trained photographer. I believe he wanted to place himself at the beach house showing the turf. Peace and love :)

It's a nice picture as it is, but there's something about the lines and the diffuse colors on the upper half that I find so pleasant. I wonder what he thinks about my take.
