Kennebunkport in November? Bring some sweaters! And some board games!

Maybe a deluxe cabin suite at AWOL, just 5 min walk to town but you feel like you're miles away from everything. Fireplace by the window and hope it snows.

Thanks! I was looking at AWOL. Have you stayed there? Also, do you think it would be better than William Jefferds House/Captains Collection (if you are familiar with it)?

White Barn Inn for sure.

What dates in Nov will you be visiting? Kennebunkport is mostly a summer seasonal area and lots of the local shops and restaurants are closed during Nov. However, some places will still be open. Also, you are not far from Portland so a short drive will open up things to do and places to dine.
It also depends on what kind of accommodations you are seeking for your stay - B&B quaint or something a little more luxurious.

End of Nov so it will be chilly and quiet I imagine. Happy to drive around. I guess something a little upscale (though I can't afford Auberge Collection type rates - wish I could). :) Looking for quiet, retreat like, place but not too rustic, if that makes sense. Thanks for your input, by the way.

It will be chilly but still lovely.
Not KPT but a new hotel just opened in Biddeford (next town over) and it looks amazing. Shameless plug for my husband, but his company did a lot of the dressers, drawers, cabinetry etc (Huston & Co in KPT) and it looks lovely. I've yet to visit but here is a link to Lincoln Mills.

I am not sure if they are open off season but Cape Arundel Inn is another fabulous place to check out. The Kennebunkport Inn is another one to look into.

You might even consider looking into an AirBB or VRBO since summer season is over, you might get a great score on an awesome home or condo!

Best wishes!

Thank you so much! WOW - Lincoln Mills looks phenomenal. Your husband is one talented craftsman. I will have a look there and Cape Arundel and KPT Inn. You've given me some great insight. Thanks, again!

Haven't stayed at Jeffords or any place that feels like you're staying in someone's big old house, just a personal preference for us. Also the rooms seem smallish and cramped but if you got a suite it would probably be very comfortable.

My daughter has stayed at AWOL when they first opened the "cabins" which are built around the old Captain Walker's House. She wants to go back, loved bicycling around the area but Nov might be too cold for that.
