Has always seems like such a depressed town.

This is how it looks to me every time I drive through, even on sunny days.

Rumford was always such a weird town to drive through, I always remember it as a ghost town other than that 1 gas station

but lacks the same atmosphere of hope and inspiration

I mean, you picked the one street furthest from what could be considered their 'downtown' but still close enough to get a photo of the mill. It's going to look dead because that's a dead part of town at ANY TIME of the day.
