Eh, King and Collins endorsed the restaurant workers who wanted to keep the minimum wage for tipped workers last time this came around. I'd think Maine senator voices would carry more weight in Maine than Bernie's? But perhaps not.

There a lot of arguments both for and against raising the minimum wage. I'm pretty open to the idea overall. I would prefer to see cost of living come down as a solution. I'm no economist.
All that being said, my comment was really just throwing some shade on the Bern.

If you're a restaurant owner and your labor costs are subsidized by your employees' tips I could see why you'd be against it.
