Wool is not for everyone, especially folks who've never worn it. For some folks, itches like crazy.

Merino wool is generally non-itchy even for people who are itchy from wool.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could wear Merino. I don't push my luck, I only wear it in socks.
