Looks rabbit to me but hard to tell for sure without anything to put it to scale. Could also be grey squirrel, they make a similar pattern of hind feet to front feet.

While u r right about the pattern. if u look at the prints where the hind feet made a mark, u will notice that they are long prints. Squirrels normally dont leave long prints like that.

True. Now, the true question is, was it a New England cottontail or a snowshoe hare? My guess is hare just because they are far more common.

If they are about the size of a cat's paw they are rabbit, if they are smaller they are grey squirrel
