Been looking at the maps and a lot of smaller places are trending more D than they usually do and, where R leads or came out ahead, they didn't come out that far ahead. Basically looks like most of the state is going 50/50ish with a slight lead for R and Portland and the coast are anchoring the larger D lead.

LePage won Lewiston in 2010 and 2014.
Mills won it by 2100 votes this time. She actually increased her lead over what it was against Moody in 2018.

I noticed that probably 90% of the towns in Maine went more D than they did in 2020. Even if they still ultimately went R for LePage. My own town went R+6 in 2022 and R+7 in 2020. Thought it was interesting
