It's kind of funny. My dad is a Republican in every sense of it but he hates Lepage.

I’ve never met a person, Republican or Dem, who has met him in person and subsequently liked him. I know a lot of people who have worked with him, or dealt with him in one capacity or another and they all say the same thing - insufferable, narcissistic, miserable asshole.

I’ve met him. He was actually super charming. But I know what he stands for and has said and I find him to be a complete piece of trash. But he’s smart and funny. I can see liking him.

Yeah my dad met him since he went to BIW and my dad was working there and happened to be able to talk to him. I'm not sure the specifics on what was going on but my dad just hates him

Met him when he was ceo of Mardens. I worked there right before his election. He was going around giving the Christmas bonus checks with Dave Marden. He used this as a way to try and get votes. He was trying to rally all employees to vote for him. He was nice to everyone, but i know it was fake. Looks like the camera added 60lbs to his face in comparison to what he actually looks like.

I have a friend who voted for him twice, but now is completely over him. Didn't get his vote this time.

Yeah, I wonder what's up with that. My dad even voted for Trump in 2020 and hopes he runs again. I just find it a little strange since my dad's only Democrat value is Abortion of all things

I mean he kind of ran away from Maine to Florida after he left office. You lose a little of your Mainer cred after that I think. Not to mention anyone who needs any kind of assistance at all would be crazy to vote for him after what he pulled his last term.
