Unfortunately it's become normalized as streaming slowly becomes Cable 2. You should look into a Raspberry Pi Pihole

I'd say it is. I also stream. YouTube is particularly obnoxious with the ads.

YouTube premium is totally worth it. We have the family plan, 6 accounts total, just went from $18 to $25 and I still think it's worth it. YouTube Music is the best music streaming platform I've found, the algorithms are on point, and NO ADS on YouTube.

Do you get the music streaming service though? That's why I pay. The no ads on YouTube is just a bonus.

uBlock doesn't work on mobile last I checked. I can't fall asleep unless I autoplay videos of a nice Chinese lady talking about tea on a loop all night on my phone, so I need Youtube premium.

No, no, it's normal. We watch Pluto TV and we've seen a ton of campaign ads, since they pull mobile ads and...well, ads you see on YouTube on your phone and air them on TV.
