I think people would be surprised what employers can get away with. I was blindsided and called into a meeting and accused of something I didn’t do. During that meeting a manager called me a bitch and brought up the fact that I go to counseling. The labor board said that there are no rules against that. They said that I could get a lawyer and address the counseling comment because it could be considered a disability (it isn’t). But they told me that even if anything came of it, nothing would happen to the employer.

Corporations own the government. The Labor Board is much like the PUC. The people appointed are there to serve the corporations.. not the people.
