I’ve always wanted to splurge and prepare my own wagyu steak, but I’m not sure where to find them in Maine. Any suggestions?

Kennebec Meat Co. in Bath often puts in orders for Wagyu - and I can't recommend them enough for their other offerings.

So there's a place outside of Canton, a small farm that does their own Wagyu, I just cant recall the name of it....somewhere near Hartford I think.
Found it when we had to drive from Canton over to Harrison. Ill see if I can find the info.

Yeah... it's weird. I ordered some a few years ago. Really good steak...but not local. I just order from VT Wagyu now, good steak, good people

It is nice to know though. My parents live in the town over from Brockton and they used a butcher there for years.

What the fuck is that change in comment? Did you forget which reddit argument you were in?

Also no, because I absolutely refuse to shop at anything associated to Walmart/Sam's Club/Walgreens after a bitchy manager screamed at me and my mother over buying clearance items a few years ago.

I'd argue wagyu lacks most of the qualities associated with a great steak. It's fine meat, but when I want a great sous vide, reverse seared steak, wagyu doesn't do it for me.

I will take a flank or a picanha any day.

My fav is to take a whole flank, lightly marinated (garlic, salt and soy) and rest it directly on a large bed of rocket hot natural lump charcoal coals. 4-5 minutes, flip, 4-5 more, remove any large bits of charcoal then foil for 10-12 minutes.

Slice and eat until you die.
