"The attraction is its potential healing power for ailments and conditions from diabetes to cancer, and chaga is highly touted as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immune booster. Most of the testimonials on its medicinal value are anecdotal, because there have been only a few scientific human studies on the compounds contained in the conk that protrudes from the side of birch trees."

Wowee, you got excited about something and felt more energetic? You think your hair is kind of nicer than it was a few weeks before? You wanted to treat your stress and anxiety and spent a whole bunch of time outside in the sun? Surely it’s the fungus and no other immediately obvious factors.

You got a hobby, touched grass and paid more attention to your personal hygiene. No shit you feel better in general. Please don’t try to convince cancer patients to pursue this bullshit over traditional medicine - you will be the death of them.

And while you’re at it, stay the fuck away from our forests with your industry.

I assume that also means no beer, wine, bread, antibiotics, soy sauce, cheese, a plethora of medicines, cured meats, coffee, tea, pickles, etc., right?

Make no mistake champ, this IS A FUNGAL planet that we are just lucky enough to live on.

Nope, pretty sure I just singled out mushrooms. Although I dislike beer, wine is good for cooking but it doesn't great in some recipes. I like cheddar, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses, not too fond of moldy cheeses.
