Onion rings look amazing.

*edit…oh I’ve been there.

Go in the other direction to Salisbury, MA off 186. Lena’s opens in March (we can’t wait). They have great seafood. Having been born and raised in Maine, I have to say it’s the best. Then we go across the street for an ice cream…Hodgies Too.

That’s about 5 minutes away from where I grew up, near the York/Eliot line

Delicious. The deleted their gluten free option so we don’t go anymore.

Don't tell anybody, but early spring through June is the best time to get clams in Mass. That's when they start digging them. Out of season clams usually come out of a can from Maryland.

Dammit, I used to live about 3 mi from that place 20 years ago and I think I still have my t-shirt somewhere (‘EAT CLAMS!’). Now I’m stuck in Chicago and dreaming of Bob’s! Looks sooo good!

I feel like it’s not as good as it used to be with the new ownership.

I have been to maine once - kittery. It was just for an hour or so and I grabbed dinner. Don’t remember the name of the place but it really just had one long table and everyone sat around it. Sat next to this older gentleman who worked at the military base. Was one of the nicest experiences of my life. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Have always wanted to return.

Going to restaurants off season can be a great experience. They are glad to see you and everything is prepared with a little more care because they have the time. Also very relaxing.

Didn't know that was considered a tourist trap, I think they have the best hot lobster rolls in the seacoast area.

Wish I was there! I visit every year. This is our first stop every single time.

That looks like a canned domestic beer that’s been poured into a cup. Not even worth a $1.

Same. I grew up right near the Amazing.net 👌

Once a year my dad would take my brothers and I to Bob's. We stopped doing that 5,6- maybe 7 years ago. It's much too expensive for me. But man, I love my some fried clams.
