My plan is to enjoy every snow day thoroughly, and adapt to the changes. I donโ€™t buy that our state is going to be filled in climate refugees, I am starting to worry we will be the first ones to be heavily effected. This recent massive rain wind storm is a sign of what is to come.

Wait until the severe drought refugees from Colorado, Nevada, and all of the west coast start to arrive ๐ŸŽ†

That sounds like a good plan. And yeah, that wind storm was brutal. I worry about the animal population here too๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Maine has always had brutal weather. Whether or not it was rain or snow just makes a difference for the electric grid since the ground doesn't freeze the trees in place.

The earth will be fine. We will not

I moved my family here, Maine ranked second in 2022 for people moving here. It's already well underway.

The gross numbers of people moving here are quite small.

Exactly, plus I still run into people constantly up here who want to be snowbirds, and how many thousands of people a day are still dumb enough to move to Florida?
