I've been on Fi for a few years and have never had issues with coverage from MDI to the Exumas, as long as I've been within about 8 miles from the coast. There are a couple bad spots in the hills, but you'll find that with any cell providers.
Nice, that's great to know
I've had Fi here since 2020, and it's been great, and the price is right for sure.
We have it in Sedgwick. It uses Us cellular towers which we switched from so reception is the same, but calls go over wifi whenever possible, and we are home most of the time anyway. Cost is about $50 a month compared to $85 for 2 phones. Since we are on wifi most of the time, we only use about 1 to 2 gigs a month of data
On fi for 3 years now. No complaints.

BIL says google fi will not allow him to sign up due to lack of coverage in the area... Guess we were grandfathered in, signed up for fi before we moved up here.
I use Fi in the Portland area, but go up to the midcoast and beyond with some regularity. It's been great.
In Camden/Rockland I was getting full bars. Even up in Cutler I was on 5g and getting fast internet. And we have four people on the plan, so we each pay $20 for unlimited, which is insane.
Nice, this is great news! Thanks
Pro tip most likely they have coverage, just use a towns hall when signing up where their is coverage and then switch to your physical address after signing up. Its worked for multiple people I know including myself.
It's great as long as you have a "Made For Fi" phone. Your phone will switch between TMobile and US Cellular towers as needed.
If you stick with any regular phone (including iphones), you'll be stuck on TMobile's network only and it's not nearly as good.
I'm in Damariscotta and check Fi availability occasionally. It has not been available since I heard about it. If you can get it, it will probably be great because US Cellular has always had great coverage in the area.
I know everyone hates the company, but I use Spectrum Mobile. It's similar to Fi, uses Verizon towers (a close second in coverage), and I pay $59/mo for two lines: one unlimited, one 1GB. It's a great price because we don't need much.

I live in Ellsworth and haven't had any issues up or down the coast with it.
