Or death metal or black metal or hardcore or grindcore or whatever.

I've been a metal/hardcore vocalist for nearly a decade, an ok loud rhythm guitarist for half of that, and a crappy punk drummer for about a year.

I'm a non-binary person in my 20s. I live 15 minutes from Lewiston and an hour from Portland. I have a car. DM me.

I'm twice your age, and I suck, but I like making loud noises and seems like we have similar worldviews. Live in Lisbon.

I play rhythm guitar (okish) bass guitar (barely) keyboards (okish) and I can hold a tune, too.

Drums are right-out for me. I can sing and play guitar at the same time but feet and hands can't do different things.

You should start a band that does punk covers of Beatles songs and call it, "Beat The Meatles"

I probably don't have enough free time to start anything right now, but if you get some black metal going and need a bass player I might be interested

Yes. It's been about 10 years since I've been in a band. But I was in various metal bands from ~2005-2012. Metal, metalcore, hardcore, punk.

I'm a drummer, have an ekit and an acoustic kit.

What do you use for an Ekit? Drums are the hardest and suckiest part of recording for me, since I'm not a drummer so I end up "programming" drums a layer at a time with a keyboard, and that shit feels hollow as hell (even though it SOUNDS nice, because I got a killer deal on Superior Drummer so my samples are top notch)

I always thought it would be cool to do something similar but with an ekit instead.

I have an old Roland tk-42. I replaced all the heads with Roland mesh heads and run it into mybandlab for basic stuff. I've never put a full song together, mostly just dicked around but it's a decent setup.

I’m less in your area (Ellsworth) but I’m a vocalist. I’m 22 and also nonbinary. I’m not trained to do like… metal voice and that kind of stuff, but I am classically trained. Unfortunately I’m currently out of practice and also undergoing masculinizing hrt so if I try and go too high my voice starts to crack. I’m also a mediocre banjo player if you’re ever looking for folk/bluegrass type vibes lol.

I've got decent gear and can play bass and guitar pretty well. I also have some synths if you wanna get weirder. Do you have any demos anywhere?

Edit: I'm in the Portland area.

Lots of noise rock like The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and KEN Mode. Classic hardcore like Black Flag, Op Ivy, and Minor Threat. Modern hardcore/grind like Zulu, Drug Church, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Napalm Death. Weird metal like Meshuggah, Deftones, etc. Basically anything loud.
